Welcome to www.arne-jacobsen.com, the official Arne Jacobsen-website presenting Jacobsen activities in order to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Danish designer and architect Arne Jacobsen.

Manufacturers and other contributors participates in this project, starting on Jacobsen´s birthday the 11th of February and continuing throughout the year 2002. Please follow updates in the calendar 2002 and 2003.

www.arne-jacobsen.com is developed by Onliners A/S  in collaboration with the Danish Design Centre , who maintains the website on behalf of the Jacobsen manufacturers.

Professor Carsten Thau and architect MAA Kjeld Vindum, both authors of the Arne Jacobsen biography, has been consulted regarding the architectural content of the website. In this context, the publishers Arkitektens Forlag has kindly supported the website with architectural photos.

The Foundation Realdanmark, Thomas B Thrige´s Foundation and Consul George Jorck and his Wife Emma Jorck´s Foundation has contributed with financial support to the realization of the website, including the encyclopedic part about Arne Jacobsen, which is an integrated part of the website, and the Arne Jacobsen multimedia slideshow , which will be available for educational and other purposes from the 15th of February.
